Our standard sock yarn is a 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon blend - a soft and hard wearing yarn with 425m to 100g, so even big feet can get socks from one skein.

There are several different colour designs.

Multicolour are dyed with roughtly equal amount of 4 different colours.  

Same difference colours are three quarters one colour, one quarter another - then the colours reverse for the second 50grams, so you get related rather than matching socks.

Take Five colourways are five 20 gram skeins - so perfect for multicoloured projects.

Eighty / Twenty colourways give you 20 grams of a semi solid and 80 grams of a co-ordinating colour. These work especially well for shawls where a semi solid border is wanted, or for socks where cuffs heels and toes can be done as a contrast to the main patterened yarn.

Semi solid colours have been dyed in a single colour to give variation of tone, and are especially suitable for items where you want to show off a stitch pattern. These are supllied in 50 gram skeins so you can buy the amout you need for samller or larger feet.
