100% superwash merino - this would be the most perfect yarn if you wanted to spin socks which could go through a washing machine. As always, check a sample before washing a whole skein or garment - washing machines and detergents vary and while we're confident that these fibres emerged from our washing machine unscathed, we can't guarantee the same for your set up.
50% superwash merino, 50% tencel - this fibre has a fantastic sheen and drapes beautifully when spun - plus is a lot easier to handle than silk.
100% blue faced leicester - this fibre is not superwash so will make lovely felt if that's what you're after. It's also gloriously bouncy and would lend itself well to softly spun yarns.
80% merino, 20% tussah silk - the merino is not superwash treated so this could be used for felting, and the silk provides a soft sparkle.
