100% superwash merino - this would be the most perfect yarn if you wanted to spin socks which could go through a washing machine. As always, check a sample before washing a whole skein or garment - washing machines and detergents vary and while we're confident that these fibres emerged from our washing machine unscathed, we can't guarantee the same for your set up.
