We're having a few days off, so our next posting date will be Monday 20th May.

KNITTING GODDESS HAND DYED YARNS

The Knitting Goddess is an independent dyer of luxury knitting yarns, producing hand dyed luxury yarns at a less than luxury price.

Our yarns are dyed in small batches, which means that every skein is unique and unrepeatable - although if you fall in love with one of our colourways but need more skeins than we have listed, please get in touch and we'll do our best to help.

LUXURY KNITTING YARNS

There is something sensuous about using luxury yarns, such as cashmere and silk, but sometimes the expense of these luxury yarns can make them seem too extravagant for everyday use. Think again! Our blended yarns are affordable as well as good looking, which means that these top end yarns no longer need to be an occasional treat.

LACE WEIGHT YARN

There has been a renaissance in the fine art of lace knitting, and shawl and scarves are now both popular and fashionable. From pure cashmere to luxury blends including merino and tencel you'll find something perfect for that special project.

SOCK YARN

If you've been bitten by the sock knitting bug, you'll find lots to tempt you here. Our hard working sock yarn is 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon, so you can be confident that your hard work will wear well. As well as a rainbow (and more) of semi solid colours, there are lots of multi colours for especially colourful feet.

4 PLY YARN

Perfect for almost everything, our range of 4 ply yarns includes blends with alpaca, silk, bamboo, tencel and cashmere. So if you're looking for an extra special yarn for socks or the softness essential for a perfect scarf one of our yarns will be just right for the job.

DOUBLE KNIT YARN

Thicker yarns make for quicker knitting, and extra warmth. With four fantastic yarns to choose from you might have to decide that several projects are in order.

YARN CLUB

If you like the excitement of regular parcels with mysterious contents then yarn club is for you. There's a wide selection of yarns to choose from - so this isn't just for the sock knitters amongst you. 

OTHER TREATS FOR KNITTERS

As well as lots of hand dyed yarns we also sell  patterns,shawl pins, stitch markers, badges, beads and postcards - perfect for you or for a gift. If you can't decide, we even sell gift vouchers.

RAVELRY

There's a group dedicated to all things Knitting Goddess on Ravelry - Knitting Goddesses (and Gods). The members are a wonderfully friendly and chatty crowd, and it's a great place to see lots of the yarns knitted up.

Of course we love to get positive feedback, but it's even more important to us to know if you think we've let you down in any way so we can sort things out.

All of our contact details are on the contact us page. We use a PO box address so we're not advertising an empty house when we tell you that we'll be away so orders will be posted later than normal. The contact phone number for us is my mobile number, simply because that's the phone I'm most likely to answer during the day when I'm in either the workshop or dye room, but if you'd prefer our landline number just drop me an email via the contact us page and I'll be happy to let you have it.
